Soon to be leveraging the latest client and portfolio management features of the Chelmer Software Suite (CSS), Northland’s leading wealth management company Yovich & Co Wealth Management will be able to spend more time advising and creating wealth for their clients.
Over the next few months, Chelmer will support Yovich & Co to upgrade their existing CSS solution, originally set up in 2000.
The new custom-configured solution will deliver a number of benefits and make wealth creation simple. Existing core processes will be automated and optimised; reducing overhead costs and allowing their advisers to operate more efficiently. As a cloud-based solution, the system will be accessible from anywhere, making team collaboration and software updates easy.
Yovich & Co Director, Jarrod Goodall, and Administrator Mary Rose Bailey joined us in Auckland for a demo of the new solution with Chelmer Service Delivery Manager, Reena Parhbu.
Jarrod says technology is critical to service delivery and will be an area of ongoing focus for their business. "The original CSS solution served us well for a number of years with almost no investment, however our business and industry has evolved, particularly with new legislation coming in, we’re more reliant than ever on technology to remain competitive."
"As financial advisers, we want to spend less time on administration, paperwork and compliance, and more time engaging with our clients so we can understand what’s right for them and provide the best possible advice. Technology is absolutely core to that."
On managing a seamless upgrade, Chelmer Service Delivery Manager, Reena Parbhu says maintaining Yovich & Co's data integrity and BAU processes will be paramount. "It's a huge shift in functionality, so during the migration process, we’ll be focused on ensuring all historical data is present and accurate so they can continue with day-to-day operations while embedding new and advanced functionality."
A seamless transition was a key consideration for Yovich & Co. "It's a big part of why we decided to make the change" says Jarrod. "Chelmer are making the process as simple as possible; keeping us informed around how the upgrade will impact and improve our business and highlighting similarities between the old and new solution."
"Trust is a big factor for us – particularly in our industry where you're looking after other people's wealth. Chelmer's loyalty and experience over the 20 years we've been working together has given us the confidence to take this leap forward. We’re excited by the myriad of possibilities that CSS provides, and look forward to exploring that further with Chelmer."
Ensuring our clients are poised for the future, at the forefront of the technology curve is a priority for Chelmer. Our long-term approach is focused on developing progressive partnerships with our clients, where we can continually evolve and co-create technology solutions together.
We look forward to ongoing conversations with the Yovich & Co team as we gain a deeper understanding of their business and look at other features we can integrate to deliver on their needs.
