Kelly first joined our team as a Junior Business Analyst in 2007 and has progressed to become a Senior Business Systems Analyst and Team Leader. Now part of our team for nearly 12 years, she focuses on evolving Myriad – working closely with our development team to ensure clients receive the best possible solution for their unique requirements.
Her involvement in projects can range from analysing our clients’ business, through to software release management, client relationship management, and ongoing support – working to resolve any release or software issues that may arise.
She’s an expert at understanding and defining complex, technical client requirements and turning them into a simple specification that our development team can follow and code. From there, she tests the software for functionality, optimisation and defects, then makes sure deployment is smooth and error-free.

As Team Leader, she also leads a team of developers and testers which includes guiding them through the system requirements, identifying solutions together and training new team members in the Chelmer methodology.
While at Chelmer, Kelly played a key role as a Business Analyst on the Replacement Faster Security System project – a significant industry-wide project which involved complex back office system changes and the addition of a SWIFT gateway and encryption between brokers and the New Zealand Stock Exchange. She was also involved in making several critical improvements to Myriad, including building our Cash Management and Margin Lending modules and implementing an Enterprise Service Bus into the Suite to allow XML messaging and web service functionality.
